Parent Routines for College Students
College life can be hectic, but establishing a routine is key to success. Start your day off right by waking up at a reasonable time and making your bed. Eat a healthy breakfast and get in some exercise for at least 30 minutes. Take a shower, get dressed, and check your emails. Attend all classes and complete all assigned tasks, taking regular breaks in between. Eat a healthy lunch and spend time with friends. Study for upcoming exams, do laundry, make a grocery list, and go grocery shopping. Cook dinner and clean up afterwards. Spend time with family and get ready for bed. Before you go to sleep, make sure to read for at least 30 minutes, and then go to sleep at a reasonable time. Establishing this routine will help you stay on track and succeed in college.
