Two months before moving day is the perfect time to start preparing for your big move. Begin by researching moving companies and getting quotes, then decide on a company and book them. Declutter your home and donate items you no longer need, and create an inventory of all your belongings. Notify your landlord or real estate agent of your move, as well as your utility companies to arrange for disconnection and reconnection at your new home. Start packing non-essential items, and notify important contacts such as your bank and credit card companies of your move.
