Evening Routine: Wind Down for Sleep
Wind down for sleep with a relaxing evening routine. Start by taking a warm shower or bath to help your body and mind relax. Put on comfortable sleepwear and brush your teeth and floss. Dim the lights and turn off electronics to help your mind disconnect from the day. Read a book or listen to calming music to further relax. Stretch or do some yoga to help your body prepare for sleep. Write in your journal to reflect on the day and clear your mind. Drink a cup of herbal tea to help you relax even more. Meditate for a few minutes to help your mind and body relax. Set an alarm for the next morning and finally, get into bed and relax.
