Stressful times can be overwhelming, but taking care of yourself is essential. Start by taking a few deep breaths to ground yourself. Make time for yourself to do things that make you feel relaxed and happy, like exercising for at least 30 minutes, eating a healthy meal, and getting enough sleep. Connect with friends and family to stay connected and supported. Take a break from technology and practice mindfulness to stay present. Get creative and do something that sparks joy, like spending time in nature, journaling, listening to calming music, taking a hot bath or shower, practicing yoga or stretching, meditating, reading a book, or doing something that makes you laugh. Give yourself a break and take a nap or do something that makes you feel productive. Self care is key to managing stress.
