Before moving out of your old home, it's important to give it a thorough cleaning to ensure you leave it in good condition for the next occupants. Start by dusting all surfaces, including furniture, shelves, and baseboards, before vacuuming all carpets and rugs. Sweep and mop all hard floors, and clean all windows and mirrors for a sparkling finish. Wipe down all appliances, including the refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher, and clean all cabinets and drawers, inside and out. Scrub all sinks, toilets, and showers, and empty all trash cans and recycling bins. Don't forget to check for any forgotten items in closets, drawers, and cabinets before making sure all lights are turned off and all doors and windows are locked.
