Evening Routine: Get Ready for Bed Ready for Sleep


At the end of the day, it's time to get ready for bed. Start by brushing your teeth and changing into comfortable pajamas. Wash your face and apply a moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated. Set your alarm for the next day and turn off all electronics to help you relax. Dim the lights and take some time to read a book or magazine, stretch, write in a journal, and drink a glass of water. Meditate for a few minutes to clear your mind and then turn off the lights. Finally, get into bed and drift off to sleep.
