Bedtime Routine for a Healthier You
Bedtime
Establishing a bedtime routine can significantly improve the quality of your sleep and overall health. To start, turn off all electronic devices at least 30 minutes before bedtime to reduce stimulation. Take a warm bath or shower to relax your muscles and apply moisturizer or lotion to your skin to keep it hydrated. Brush your teeth and floss to maintain good oral hygiene. Wear comfortable sleepwear that is not too tight or restrictive and dim the lights in your bedroom to create a relaxing atmosphere. Practice deep breathing or meditation to calm your mind and body. Set your alarm clock or phone to wake up at the desired time and turn off all lights before going to bed at a consistent time every night. Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and heavy meals before bedtime to promote better sleep.
